Commitment to Accessibility

Commitment to Accessibility

Rainbow District School Board has developed a multi-year Accessibility Plan in accordance with the Integration Accessibility Standards Regulation under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.

The plan incorporates the intentions of the Board to meet its obligations under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001.

The multi-year Accessibility Plan describes the measures that the Rainbow District School Board will take to identify, remove and prevent barriers for people with disabilities who work, learn and participate in the school board community including students, staff, parents/guardians, volunteers and visitors of all board facilities.

The plan will be guided by the Board’s policies and procedures on accessibility.
