Overview
Sudbury Secondary School celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2008.
It is a flagship school with a tremendous history in our community that offers diverse programs, including Arts Education.
The facility requires upgrades.
Some of the areas that need to be addressed include excess space, auditorium repairs, limited parking and lack of accessibility.
The Board also wants to look at what should be preserved for historical purposes.
Two public meetings will be held as part of the consultative process.

Sudbury Secondary School was built in 1920 with additions in 1930, 1939, 1949, 1959, 1963 and 1973 for a total of 233,060 square feet.
Sudbury Secondary School offers English and French Immersion programs for Grades 9 to 12. It is also home to Rainbow District School Board's Arts Education Program.
