Notice of Meetings

The Ministry of Education has appointed a facilitator to review the Rainbow District School Board’s accommodation review process in accordance with its policy.

Facilitator Margaret Wilson will meet with the Sudbury South Accommodation Review Committee on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 6 pm.

On Tuesday, March 22, 2011, the facilitator will meet with petitioners from Long Lake Public School at 6 pm and Wanup Public School at 7:30 pm.

The meetings will take place at Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School, 275 Loach’s Road in Sudbury, in the Lecture Room on the third floor.

Monday, August 23, 2010
The Accommodation Review Committee submits a written Accommodation Review Report to the Board’s Administrative Council that includes findings and recommendations.

Thursday, August 26, 2010
Administrative Council reviews the report and prepares Administrative Council recommendations.

Monday, September 20, 2010
Board Meeting
Administrative Council presents the Accommodation Review Committee Report to the Board and the Administrative Council report to the board.

Monday, October 18, 2010
Board Meeting
The Board will hear public presentations related to the Accommodation Review.  Public presentations will be made in accordance with the bylaws of the Board.

Administrative Council will prepare a follow-up report to the Board based on public input.

Monday, November 15, 2010

A final decision will be made regarding accommodation.
