Community

Ernie Checkeris has several community partners. Boardwalk Gaming Centre offers Checkeris the opportunity to fundraise through their Bingo 1 days. Better Beginnings, Better Futures as well as the Human League provide food for our Healthy Snacks program. Our parents take these donations and prepare snacks which contain at least three food groups every Monday and Wednesday for first break. Cambrian College has provided Checkeris with a few ECE students who work with our JK and SK teachers. Students profit from pizza days offered by Mr. Topper's Pizza, subs from Mr. Sub and milk from Sealtest.
