I have a responsibility to keep people safe.

At school I have a right to be respected.

This means that no one will:make fun of my skin colour or background,

make me feel unwelcomed,

or intentionally embarrass me.

I have a responsibility to treat others the way I want to be treated.

At school I have a right to be accepted as an individual.

This means that no one will:take or break my things,

make fun of my appearance or my clothing,

or tease me for being different.

I have a responsibility to respect people’s differences.

At school I have a right to express my ideas and feelings.

This means that no one will:criticize my choices,

interrupt me,

or put me down.

I have a responsibility to listen to others and be fair.
