GET VOCAL! Looking to get involved at Lasalle Secondary School but not sure what to do? Lasalle offers many extracurricular activities from sports to acting and singing. The vocal ensemble is a great way to get involved at school. Singing is a wonderful way to brighten someone’s day and we can all relate to music! Mme Dupuis along with Mr Scherzinger and Mrs Moffatt have been leading the ensemble since 2006, but the vocals ensemble was established long before then. The size of the group ranges from fifteen to twenty students. The vocalists meet twice a week, Wednesdays at lunch and Fridays after school in room 209. This club participates in many events across Sudbury: singing at school functions and events, as well as visiting old age homes. In previous years, the vocal ensemble has been a participant in the Northern Ontario Music Festival, showing off their true talents. This year the students are even traveling to Cuba! If this sounds like something you would like to do, please don’t hesitate to visit on Wednesdays or Fridays! New members are always welcome!
