Adult Education now accepting registrations


Registrations are now being accepted for Block 4 of Adult Education courses being offered by Rainbow District School Board from March 1 to April 28, 2010.

To register, visit the Continuing Education Centre at Sudbury Secondary School’s College Street entrance (Room C-200) weekdays from 10 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 3 pm until Tuesday, February 23, 2010.

FREE credit courses are available during the day to any adults 19 years of age and older and out of high school for at least one semester. Adults can earn two high school credits in approximately six weeks.

The Continuing Education Centre offers adult day classes in marketing, English, communications, mathematics, chemistry, physics, technological design, food and nutrition, visual arts, green industries and health care.

When registering, students should bring a copy of their transcript from the last high school attended as well as a birth certificate and health card.
