Night School


Night School credit courses are offered free to any age group. These courses are two nights a week for 18 weeks. If you are a student who attends school full time during the day  you must have the principal sign the attached consent form before coming to register for a night school class. 

General Interest courses are $70.00 and are 1 night per week 2.5 hours for approximately 10 weeks.

Credit courses are 2 nights per week 3 hours each night for approximately 18 weeks and are FREE.

We also offer a Heritage Language Program, to pupils of elementary school age and eligible to attend a publicly funded elementary school as of September 1st of the school year in which the class is to be provided.  This definition includes Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 children.  Heritage Language Programs are open to any child regardless of cultural or linguistic background.

Rainbow District School Board also offers FREE credit courses during the day to students 19 years of age and older who have been out of high school for at least one semester. Students can earn two high school credits in approximately six weeks. Adult day classes are also available.

Registration

Please register in person using the Davidson St entrance of Sudbury Secondary School.  Bring a transcript, Birth Certificate and Health Card with you when you come to register.  All registrations must be done in person.  If you are currently a secondary school student you must have a Principals consent form signed.

Classes run depending on enrollment and students will be called if the classes are cancelled.
