Apprenticeship Subject Pathways
Apprenticeship Subject Pathways is a resource document published by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) and the Ministry of Education. This document outlines which English, mathematics and science secondary school courses are of most benefit for secondary school students interested in apprenticing in the skilled trades.The Apprenticeship Subject Pathways Document aligns the academic skills inventories for trades that are identified in Evaluating Academic Readiness for Apprenticeship Training (EARAT) with the learning expectations that are outlined in the Ontario secondary school curriculum policy documents for English, mathematics, and science.
