




Summer School courses are remedial courses. Secondary students must have completed the course with a minimum mark of 35% during the current academic year to attend Summer School. Co-op is an exception to this rule. Summer Co-op students can obtain one new Co-op credit linked to a course they have already completed.
Courses offered in Summer School include English, math, science,
French, history and geography.
Dates:
The program will commence on Monday, July 4, 2011 and run through to Friday, July 29, 2011.
Time:
During the first week of the program, period 1 classes will run from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and period 2 classes from 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 pm.
Class times change on July 11 to the end of Summer School and run
from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 10:45 am to 12:45 pm.
Location:
Secondary Summer School will take place at Lasalle Secondary School, 1545 Kennedy Street in Sudbury, and is open to all students from both public and separate schools.
