Chelmsford PS captures top honours in Sudbury Police Museum Art Contest
Chelmsford Public School students won first, second and third place in the Sudbury Police Museum Art Contest. Curator David Woodley congratulates, from left, Riley Trottier, Emily Trottier and Sara Annett. Curator David Woodley spoke with junior students on the evolution of the City of Greater Sudbury Police. Students heard interesting stories, saw artifacts and asked great questions. Their art projects depicted the evolution of uniforms, technology and delivery of services. The winners were treated to a limo ride to the museum with a police escort through the city. They toured the museum, tried on uniforms and were awarded their prizes. Sara Annett, Grade 5, won first place and is the proud recipient of an ipad mini and a gift bag from various Sudbury businessess. Emily Trottier, Grade 4, placed second, and Riley Trottier, Grade 6, placed third. They both received gift bags from various Sudbury businesses. These creative pieces of art will be displayed on billboards throughout the city.
