Ontario Seeking Public Input on Strengthening Rural Education
The Government of Ontario is conducting engagement sessions across the province in rural communities, to seek input from parents/guardians, students, teachers, community leaders, and members of the public.
Members of the public are invited to review the discussion paper, “Supporting Students and Communities, A discussion paper to Strengthen Education in Ontario’s Rural and Remote Communities” which the ministry has developed to help guide the conversation about rural education.
The local session will take place on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Warren Golden Age Club Hall, 40 Rutland Avenue in Warren.
In-person sessions are voluntary and no registration is required. However, as space is limited, participants are encouraged to arrive early.
If you are unable to attend a session, you may submit feedback by completing Ontario’s Rural Education Strategy survey online or emailing [email protected] by June 9, 2017.
