While schools are closed, we remain focused on supporting physical well-being, mental health and overall wellness. Taking care of ourselves and being kind to others (from a safe distance) are effective strategies to face new challenges.

If you have questions about mental health and well-being, please contact a member of the Rainbow District School Board mental health team by calling 705.665.3339 or 705.669.7732 between 10 am and 3 pm, Monday to Friday. Please note: These are not crisis lines. They will not be monitored outside of designated hours.

COMPASS COVID-19 UPDATE

April 8, 2020

Due to the growing COVID-19 pandemic, Compass wants to ensure that children, youth and families in the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts are aware that they are open and providing mental health services by phone or video conferencing.

  • To access child and youth mental health services such as mindSPACE, please call the toll-free number 1-800-815-7126.
  • They are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
  • Visit compassne.ca to learn more.

Compass is open and still providing Child and Youth Mental Health Services. Services are being offered by phone or video conferencing until April 5th.

March 16, 2020

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus situation, Compass is being proactive by cancelling all group programs (SNAP, FRIENDS, Triple P) effective immediately, until further notice to assist with slowing down the transmission of the virus.

In addition, Compass will no longer be allowing face to face meetings with clients and walk-ins.
