Triple P aims to build strong, healthy relationships by supporting parents to:

• Teach children news skills
• Encourage good behaviour
• Set rules and instructions that your child will follow
• Use discipline strategies that work
• Take care of yourself as a parent

Positive Parenting Seminars

Free positive parenting seminars will be presented in partnership with local organizations that support children. The three part series for Primary (0 to 10 years) focuses on the Power of Positive Parenting; Raising Confident, Competent Children; and Raising Resilient Children.

Primary Seminar Series

The three part series for Primary (0 to 10 years) focuses on the Power of Positive Parenting; Raising Confident, Competent Children; and Raising Resilient Children.

Group Triple P

The Group Triple P (2 to 10 years) is a broad-based parenting intervention for parents who have concerns about their child’s mild to moderate behavioural problems who are interested in learning a variety of parenting skills. Parents actively participate in a range of exercises to learn about the causes. They set specific goals and use strategies to promote child development, manage misbehaviour and plan for high-risk situations.

Teen Seminar Series

The three part series for Teen Seminars (11 to 17 years) focuses on Raising Responsible Teenagers, Raising Competent Teenagers and Getting Teenagers Connected.

Family Transitions

Triple P Family Transitions is for parents going through separation or divorce and are worried about the impact it is having on their child’s behaviour and emotions.

Triple P One-on-One

Triple P One-on-One is also available for two to four sessions with an accredited Triple P consultant to help parents focus on a specific parenting challenge.

Sessions are available for any parent who wants active skills training to help change their child’s behaviour.
