Activities

In Rainbow Schools, students participate in competitive and non-competitive sports including badminton, basketball, golf, hockey, football, soccer, track and field, rowing, volleyball, swimming, tennis, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, canoeing and hiking. Northern Ontario offers exceptional recreational opportunities in all seasons.

Students can also join a variety of clubs and teams and take part in many activities, including band, chess, reach for the top, drama, photography, Student Council, Athletic Council, chess, Amnesty International, Art Club, Beekeepers Club, Big Brothers & Big Sisters Club, Biology contests, Breakfast Club, Environmental Club, Film Production Club, Gay Straight Alliance, Improv Team, Knitting Club, Math contests, Movie Club, Multicultural Club, Relay for Life, Robotics Team and Rock Band.

With access to a wide variety of sports, clubs, teams and activities, students enjoy a full secondary school experience. Common interests bring students together in a spirit of friendship and fun. In the process, they build important life skills, including teamwork, co-operation and communication. They also make memories that will last a lifetime.
