Rainbow Schools in Sudbury, Espanola and Manitoulin will host information nights for Full Day Every Day Junior and Senior Kindergarten registrations. All parents/guardians and children are invited to attend.

Information Nights will take place from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 for the English Program and Thursday, January 24, 2013 for the French Immersion Program. Schools offering English and French Immersion will host one information night on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Visit rainbowschools.ca for a list of schools and programs offered or call your area Rainbow School.

For enrolment in Junior Kindergarten, your child must be four years of age by December 31st, 2013. For enrolment in Senior Kindergarten, your child must be five years of age by December 31st, 2013.

When registering your child, please bring his/her identification documents including birth certificate, birth registry/baptismal certificate, Ontario Health Card and immunization record.

Parents/guardians can enroll their children in the English Program or the French Immersion Program.

The English Program is exclusively in English and includes a Core French component. Students learn basic French through songs, games, drama and interactive activities for a specified period of time daily, beginning in Grade 4.

French Immersion immerses children in the French language, including cultural experiences. The program provides a balance of English and French instruction. French is gradually increased throughout the Kindergarten program. This program is designed for English speaking parents/guardians so they may support their children to become bilingual.
