Knights for Neo Kids: Lo-Ellen Park scores baskets to raise funds

Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School is scoring baskets to raise funds for Neo Kids.

The Knights for Neo Kids teachers versus students basketball game, featuring members of the Sudbury Five, will take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11:50 am in the school gym. Students in Grades 7 to 12 can purchase tickets for the game, during third period.

Leading up to the game, there will be a 3-on-3 tournament in the morning. Student participants will collect monetary pledges.

Proceeds from both events will support the NEO Kids Foundation, and will serve as the kick-off to a more extensive capital fundraising campaign set to launch in the spring.

“Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School has had a long-standing relationship with NEO Kids,” says Principal Pamela Potvin. “Each year, we look forward to raising thousands of dollars to support children who require care.”

She adds: “It will be an exciting day of friendly competition for a good cause.”
