ABORIGINAL SUPPORT WORKER

(Contract April 1, 2019 to June 26, 2020)

Rainbow District School Board invites applications for a contract Aboriginal Support Worker for schools on Manitoulin Island.

The successful candidate must have experience working with and providing support to students who identify as Indigenous.  As well, candidates must have an understanding of working with people who identify as Indigenous and Indigenous communities and culture.  Experience with elementary or secondary schools and working with social service agencies.  Candidates should have a post-secondary diploma in Social Services or related field and must have excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills.

Interested candidates should reply by noon Friday March 1, 2019 and submit a covering letter, resume, proof of post secondary diploma and the names of three professional references to:
