Lasalle Secondary School presents Student Bonanza One Act Extravaganza!

Lasalle Secondary School is proud to present Student Bonanza One Act Extravaganza! featuring three entirely student written and created one-act shows.

Presentations will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 12:30 pm for older adults 60 and over as well as Friday, December 13, 2024 and Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 7 pm at the Lasalle Secondary School Black Box Theatre.

Student Bonanza One Act Extravaganza! unfolds over approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (with intermission) and includes the following:

A Grandma’s Gift
When highschooler, Izzy, learns she isn’t going to Mexico for Christmas, she is forced to find a new way to impress her friends in this coming-of-age Christmas story.

A Study in Mahogany
A modern-day noir spoof of the classic Detective Sherlock Holmes story, A Study in Scarlet. When a student is found murdered on a college campus, police detectives, Lestrade and Gregson, enlist the help of university students Sherlock and Watson to help solve the case.

The People We Meet: An Elevator Musical
A jukebox musical about an eclectic group of people stuck on a hospital elevator.

There are mature themes as well as flashing lights in one of the shows.
The shows are suitable for ages 13 and over. Viewer discretion is advised.

Tickets, at $3 for students and seniors, and $5 for adults, are available through School Cash Online or at the door.

Lasalle Secondary School is located at 1545 Kennedy Street in Sudbury.
