NEW COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORM COMING THIS FALL

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Is your email address up-to-date with your child’s school? 

If your email address has changed, please contact your child’s school as soon as possible to update.

Rainbow District School Board is launching a new communications platform this fall. 

It’s called Edsby and parents/guardians will be invited to register for the application by email.

Edsby is popular at many school boards across the province. 

You will be able to download the Edsby application to your computer, laptop, or smartphone and access board and school information from anywhere at any time.

You will also be able to keep track of your child’s attendance at school and advise the school when your child will be absent through Edsby. 

Additional features will be introduced throughout the 2026-2027 school year. 

As we streamline our communications with families, Edsby will become an important two-way channel between the school and the home, and the home and the school, for both our elementary and secondary schools.

We are excited to share Edsby with you and know you will enjoy using this new platform. 

Please update your email address, if you believe the one on file at the school is incorrect.

Note:  If you are currently receiving email communications from your child’s school, that same email will be used to access Edsby. No further action is required.

More information will be shared with you regarding registration in August.
