Lo-Ellen Park student wins Royal Tyrrell Museum Prehistoric Art Contest

A Grade 10 student at Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School has captured top honours in the Royal Tyrrell Museum Prehistoric Art Contest.
Alexander Lewko won best overall in the open category for Grade 7 to 12.
This year, the museum received more than 1,000 entries in this category.
The art contest was open to all Canadian students.
Alexander Lewko’s drawing is now prominently displayed in the Museum’s Art Gallery.
The Royal Tyrrell Museum is located in Drumheller, Alberta.
The area is well known for the fossils that have been discovered there for well over a century.
A copy of Alexander Lewko’s artwork will also be displayed at Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School.
