Retro Bill: Back by popular demand!
When he visited Sudbury in May, Retro Bill received thumbs up from Chelmsford Public School students, from left, Keagan Kinash, Liam Kinash and Dylan Kinash. He’s now back by popular demand! Retro Bill will deliver his powerful anti-bullying message on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium at Lockerby Composite School, 1391 Ramsey View Court in Sudbury. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome. Retro Bill uses his energetic personality, personal experiences, a variety of visual props, role-playing and voiced sound effects to address bullying in all of its forms. He empowers children by providing healthy, safe and creative ways to deal with bullying in a positive way.

RETRO BILL, one of the most in demand Kindergarten to Grade 12 motivational speakers in North America, is returning to Sudbury on Thursday, September 22, 2011. RETRO BILL will deliver his powerful anti-bullying message at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium at Lockerby Composite School, 1391 Ramsey View Court in Sudbury. Admission is free.
“RETRO BILL was a hit, so we’re bringing him back by popular demand,” said Norm Blaseg, Director of Education for Rainbow District School Board. “RETRO BILL talks about the serious topic of bullying in a fun and creative way. His presentation will appeal to parents/guardians and children of all ages. Everyone is welcome.”
Children love RETRO BILL. They listen attentively as he tells them that they are each one-of-a-kind, and, that if they have (unfortunately) ever been the victim of bullying, they are not alone. Everyone has been (or will be) teased or bullied at some time, in some way.
RETRO BILL uses his energetic personality, personal experiences, a variety of visual props, role-playing and voiced sound effects to address bullying in all of its forms. He empowers children, by providing healthy, safe and creative ways to deal with bullying in a positive way.
RETRO BILL will follow on the heels of Rainbow District School Board’s fourth annual Wear Pink Day on Thursday, September 15th. “As we launch the new school year, we are inviting students, staff, parents/guardians and the community to stand up against bullying,” said Director Blaseg. “In addition to the RETRO BILL presentation, our schools will reinforce this important message by focusing on positive character traits throughout the school year.”
RETRO BILL can be seen daily on television on the worldwide Trinity Broadcast Network and on the Smile of a Child Network. He is a weekly On-Air Contributor to the North American Syndicated radio program "Leeza Gibbons – Hollywood Confidential" and he can be heard doing voice-overs for many cartoon shows. He is also an accomplished artist and clothing apparel designer.
In addition to the public presentation at Lockerby Composite School, RETRO BILL will visit a number of Rainbow Schools. On Thursday, September 22nd, he will be at Little Current Public School at 11:30 am. On Friday, September 23rd, he will be at Valley View Public School at 9:20 am and Princess Anne Public School at 12:30 pm.
