Alexander Public School hosts Fun Fair on Thursday, April 26

Alexander Public School invites students, parents/guardians, alumni and neighbours to its Fun Fair on Thursday, April 26, 2012. The Fun Fair will take place from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at the school at 39 St. Brendan Street in Sudbury.

The event, an annual fundraiser for the school, will start with pizza and a bake sale in the gym, and include numerous games, activities and contests throughout the school.

A favourite with young and old alike is the Basket Boulevard, a long row of themed gift baskets made up by each class. The draw for the baskets takes place at the end of the evening.

Also at the Fun Fair, tickets will be sold for a raffle for a chance to win a trip for four to Disney World, Florida, an iPod or a bicycle.

Money raised will go towards a number of school activities, including healthy excursions for students and further re-greening of the schoolyard. Funds will also be used for equipment and supplies.
