Process for Student Transportation:

Again this year, the Sudbury Student Services Consortium would like to advise the public that the last day of student transportation modifications for the upcoming school year (2012/2013) will be August 24th, 2012.

In order to ensure student safety, if student modifications are received after this date, the new changes will only be processed during the third week of school.

Parents and guardians who do not contact the Consortium before August 24th, and who have children from grades 1 to 12, will be allowed to load at existing bus stops only.

Parents and guardians who do not contact the Consortium before August 24th, and who have children in  Junior and/or Senior Kindergarten will not be able to go to an existing stop unless accompanied by an older sibling attending the same school.  New transportation information will be communicated to the parents and schools and will be effective on September 17th, 2012.

Therefore, all parents and guardians who move during the summer, change their child’s school and/or modify their child’s babysitter, are encouraged to contact the Sudbury Student Services Consortium during the summer and prior to August 24th, 2012 by calling 705-521-1234, toll free 1-877-225-1196 or by e-mail at [email protected].

Changes can also be registered on our website at www.businfo.ca under the Parent Portal.

Thanking you for your continued support!
