Students
at Carl Nesbitt
Public School pose with the change they’ve collected for the Pennies For
Pediatrics campaign at Health Sciences North/Horizon Santé-Nord (HSN).

Pennies For
Pediatrics is an initiative of the HSN Volunteer Association, in cooperation
with HSN Volunteer Services.

The goal of
Pennies For Pediatrics is to raise $100,000 for the construction of a
Snoezelen® Pool, which uses special sound and lighting for the treatment of
children with developmental conditions such as autism.

"Carl
Nesbitt Public School is proud to support the Pennies For Pediatrics campaign,"
says Terry Moss, Principal of Carl Nesbitt Public School. "The campaign is
for a local cause and there may come a time when our students need the services
of Health Sciences North. This affects our kids and their families, and we’re
honoured to help children in our community."
