Student donates iPad Mini to Northern Cancer Foundation

A Grade 8 student at Markstay Public School, who won an iPad mini for capturing top honours at the Sudbury Regional Heritage Fair, has donated his prize to the Northern Cancer Foundation. Andrew Dominick presented the iPad mini to Executive Director Tannys Laughren on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. He asked that it be given to a deserving child in Northern Ontario.  Andrew Dominick is an honour roll student at Markstay Public School where he has been involved in volleyball, basketball, Science Fair, Entrepreneurship Fair, Heritage Fair and the Grade 8 Leadership Club.
