Queen Elizabeth students don yellow for daffodil month

During their monthly character trait assembly on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, students from Queen Elizabeth II Public School donned yellow in recognition of daffodil month.  A cheque in the amount of $400 was presented to Larissa Lopez, centre, fundraising assistant from the Canadian Cancer Society. Representing students are, from left, Jordan Marchand, Cadence Garand, Alexander Gregory, Ella Deschauer, Kaylin Alston, Kalista McHugh and Antonio Wesley. “All money was raised through donations from our amazing Queen Elizabeth families and by selling popsicles that were generously provided by Food Basics on Notre-Dame,” says Principal Jim Wachnuk. “We are proud of our students and staff and their continued contribution to the community in which they live. We thank everyone for their support.”
