Rainbow Schools participate in Sharing Dance Day on June 3

Sharing Dance, a national event that encourages children and adults to develop healthier lifestyles through dance, is coming to Rainbow Schools for the very first time in June.
An outreach project of Canada’s National Ballet School in partnership with the School of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Physical and Health Education Canada, Sharing Dance aims to motivate Canadians of all ages to participate in free, healthy, fun and creative dance activities.

Sharing Dance Day will take place on Friday, June 3, 2016.
Students at Adamsdale Public School will gather in the playground at 9 am to practice and perform this year’s Sharing Dance routine, choreographed by Toronto choreographer Kevin Ornsby.
Students at Walden Public School will host an assembly at 1:40 pm to celebrate Sharing Dance Day.  Students and staff will share the Brain Dance, Rock Dances from the Sharing Dance teaching resources, and SPARK fitness dances. Students will also perform the Sharing Dance routine.
