“We look forward to welcoming Niigaan Sinclair, a respected voice across Canada,” says Director of Education Norm Blaseg. “His presentation is part of our continued commitment to First Nations, Métis and Inuit education. This is an opportunity to learn more about reconciliation and, more importantly, the role we can all play in this important process.”
The presentation will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm in the Sheridan Auditorium at Sudbury Secondary School, 154 College Street. Secondary students will be available in the library to provide childcare support, if needed. Light snacks and activities will be offered. There will also be a video link to Espanola High School.
