Cancelled: Student Senate hosts Talent Show on March 7th
This event has been cancelled for Tuesday, March 7, 2017 and will be rescheduled.
The Rainbow District School Board Student Senate will host a Talent Show for secondary students on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Sudbury Secondary School’s Sheridan Auditorium.
Students will take centre stage from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm to showcase a variety of unique singing, dancing and instrumental acts.
A panel will judge two routines from each Rainbow secondary school. The top three performances will be awarded prizes generously donated by local businesses.
Judges for the event include Sherri K and Nevena of Hot 93.5, Markus Schwabe of CBC Morning North, and Joscelyne Landry-Altmann, Ward 12 Councillor and Deputy Mayor with the City of Greater Sudbury.
“The Talent Show gives students an opportunity to gain experience performing in front of a live audience,” says Rainbow District School Board Student Senate Chair Katie Yao. “It’s an event intended to celebrate and honour the exceptional talent that our students have to offer.”
She adds: “On behalf of the Student Senate, I extend a heartfelt thanks to the panel of judges for taking the time to be with us. It promises to be an entertaining event for all.”
Sudbury Secondary School is located at 154 College Street.
