What’s happening in Rainbow Schools?
Sudbury hosts City/NOSSA Gymnastics Championships on April 3rd
Some 135 athletes from 12 schools will participate in the City / Northern Ontario Secondary School Athletics (NOSSA) Gymnastics Championships on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 8 am to 4 pm.
Competitors will vie for honours in five events – floor, vault, beam, bars and sport aerobic gymnastics. The competition will take place at the GymZone Family Fitness Centre, 1311 Gemmell Street in Sudbury.
Medals will be presented for first, second and third place finishes. Ribbons will be presented for 4th to 8th place finishes (individual and overall). There will also be plaques for team champions (levels 1 to 6).
Participating schools include Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School, Confederation Secondary School, Lockerby Composite School, Lasalle Secondary School, Manitoulin Secondary School, Collège Notre-Dame, École secondaire catholique Champlain, École secondaire catholique l’Horizon, Bishop Alexander Carter Catholic Secondary School, Marymount Academy, Northern Secondary School and St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School.
