Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School presents “Bye Bye Birdie”

The Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School Theatre Company will present its 2017 Spring Musical, “Bye Bye Birdie,” from Wednesday, May 24, 2017 to Saturday, May 27, 2017.

Weekday shows will begin at 6 pm. The Saturday performance is a matinée at 2 pm.

A loving send-up of the 1960s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll, “Bye Bye Birdie” remains as fresh and vibrant as ever.

Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted, so he chooses All-American girl Kim McAfee for a very public farewell kiss.

Featuring a tuneful high-energy score, plenty of great parts for teens, and a hilarious script, “Bye Bye Birdie” continues to thrill audiences around the world.

“Bye Bye Birdie” is suitable for audiences age 11 and up.

Tickets, at $10 each, are available at the main office of Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School, and at A&J Home Hardware located at 469 Bouchard Street, Sudbury. Tickets will also be available at the door.
