2013-2014 Annual Report for Rainbow Schools now available online
Rainbow District School Board’s Annual Report for the 2013-2014 school year is now available online at www.rainbowschools.ca.
School Boards are required to produce an Annual Report in accordance with The Education Act. The Annual Report provides an overview of the key activities undertaken by Rainbow District School Board to address its strategic priorities during the 2013-2014 school year. It also offers an overview of the current Board budget.
“Student achievement and well-being is reflected throughout the Annual Report, as decisions made in the boardroom were implemented in the classroom,” said Rainbow District School Board Chair Doreen Dewar. “I would like to congratulate students on their achievements and thank parents/guardians for their support. Our educators continue to bring learning to life, enabling students to fulfill their aspirations.”
“With the leadership of elected Trustees, Rainbow District School Board made tremendous progress in the 2013-2014 school year as we ensured success for all, ensured efficient resource management and promoted succession planning,” said Director of Education Norm Blaseg. “We thank our partners in education for working with us to develop creative and capable students who are connected to their community and the world in which they live.”
Copies of the 2013-2014 Annual Report can be obtained at the Board Office, Centre for Education, 408 Wembley Drive in Sudbury, and area Rainbow Schools in Sudbury, Espanola, Manitoulin Island and Shining Tree.
