2014-2015 Annual Report for Rainbow Schools now available
Rainbow District School Board’s Annual Report for the 2014-2015 school year is now available.
School Boards are required to produce an Annual Report in accordance with The Education Act. The Annual Report provides an overview of the key activities undertaken by Rainbow District School Board to address its strategic priorities during the 2014-2015 school year. It also offers an overview of the current Board budget.
“Student achievement and well-being were the primary focus, as decisions made in the boardroom were implemented in the classroom,” said Rainbow District School Board Chair Doreen Dewar. “On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to congratulate students on their achievements, thank parents/guardians for their support and commend all staff for their efforts. Our educators continue to bring learning to life, enabling students to fulfill their aspirations.”
“Rainbow District School Board made tremendous progress in the 2014-2015 school year as we ensured success for all, ensured efficient resource management and promoted succession planning,” said Director of Education Norm Blaseg. “I would like to commend Trustees for their leadership and thank staff, students and parents/guardians for their energy, engagement and enthusiasm.”
Copies of the 2014-2015 Annual Report can be obtained at the Board Office, Centre for Education, 408 Wembley Drive, and area Rainbow Schools in Sudbury, Espanola, Manitoulin Island and Shining Tree.
