Alexander Public School hosts Fun Fair on April 28

Alexander Public School invites students, parents/guardians, alumni and neighbours to its Fun Fair on Thursday, April 28, 2011. The Fun Fair will take place from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at the school at 39 St. Brendan Street in Sudbury.

The event, an annual fundraiser for the school, will include numerous games, activities and contests throughout the school.

A favourite with young and old alike is the Basket Boulevard, a long row of themed gift baskets made up by each class. The draw for the baskets takes place at the end of the evening.

The evening will also feature a raffle for a trip for four to Disney World, Florida.

Money raised will go towards a number of school activities, including healthy excursions for students and further re-greening for the schoolyard. Funds will also be used for equipment and supplies.
