The Staples School Supply Drive Campaign was held at the stores on Notre-Dame Avenue and Marcus Drive last fall. Staples provided a further discount to maximize supplies for children.

“Students were thrilled to receive a new backpack and surprised to find a lunch bag or pencil case enclosed,” said Director of Education Bruce Bourget.

The Staples School Supply Drive Campaign is one of many service projects presented by the Kiwanis Club of North Eastern Ontario. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time.

“Students need supplies to be successful,” said local Club President Serge Viau. “We welcome the opportunity to organize the drive and thank Staples and its customers for their generous contributions.”
