Busing for students from Lansdowne / Sudbury Secondary School
Busing has now been finalized for students from Lansdowne Public School and Sudbury Secondary School who were relocated earlier today as a result of the fire at the Steelworkers Hall.
Students from Lansdowne Public School will be picked up at Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School. Buses on routes K705 and K713 are scheduled to drop Lansdowne students off at their regular stops on time. A 20-minute delay in the drop off time is anticipated for Lansdowne students returning home on routes L571 and L578.
Students from Sudbury Secondary School are being transported to Marymount Academy where they will board their regular buses home. No delays are anticipated. Staff will remain with students until all buses have departed.
Plans are still being finalized for students from Lansdowne Public School and Sudbury Secondary School who walk home.
Rainbow District School Board thanks students, parents/guardians, staff and bus operators for their co-operation as we ensure a safe return home for all students.
