Carl A. Nesbitt Public School Math Team Celebrates Impressive Victory

Grade 7 and 8 Enriched Math students from Carl A. Nesbitt Public School won the University of Waterloo’s Grade 9 Pascal Math Contest for Zone 62, within Northern Ontario. Students study math at the Grade 9/10 level for 90 minutes a day. The winning team includes, back row, from left, Thomas Pouta, Summer Chan, Amanda Lawson and Rebecca Jacob; and, front row, from left, Samantha Martin, Jayden Rivers, Jim Sutherland (retired Principal and coach), Josh Piché, Morgan Vicker, Kayleigh Jeanveau, Ashley Beland and Tyler Rivet.
