Carl A. Nesbitt Public School presents Money Management for Kids

Carl A. Nesbitt Public School invites their students and families to attend Money Management for Kids presentations this month.
Ruby Lougheed-Yawney, Senior Financial Advisor at Manulife Securities Incorporated in Sudbury, will help participants enhance their knowledge of money management, an important life skill. Money Management for Kids will also support math learning in school.
There will be a session for students in Grades 3 to 5 on Monday, November 17, 2014 and a session for students in Grades 6 to 8 on Monday, November 24, 2014. Both sessions will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm at Carl A. Nesbitt Public School, 1241 Roy Street in Sudbury.
Ruby Lougheed-Yawney has more than 25 years of experience helping people make decisions about their finances. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
She has experience in corporate finance and risk management coupled with a strong academic training. She continued to pursue training by obtaining her Chartered Accountant designation with a global accounting firm in Toronto, where she specialized in auditing pension plans.
Ruby Lougheed-Yawney has Certified Financial Planning, Certified Investment Manager, Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and Christian Financial Counsellor designations. 
Money Management for Kids is being funded by the Ministry of Education Parent Engagement Office.
