Central Manitoulin student captures top honours in public speaking

A Grade 7 student at Central Manitoulin Public School has won top honours in public speaking.  Amber Wahl placed first in her division at the Royal Canadian Legion Public Speaking competition in Onaping on Sunday, March 1, 2015.  Amber will now be advancing to the Northern Ontario Competition in Blind River on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Amber’s speech on "Black Flies" describes the trouble with black flies and what people do.  She ends her speech by passionately describing black flies as one of the downfalls of living in a beautiful countryside. Congratulations!
