Charles C. McLean students capture top honours in Poster and Essay Contests

A number of students from Charles C. McLean Public School in Gore Bay captured top honours in the Royal Canadian Legion Zone H-3 Poster and Essay Competitions. The first place winners will now move on to the next level. Winners were, from left, Rachael Orford, second, Primary colour poster; Rheanna Greco, first, Junior black and white poster; Emily Patterson, first, Intermediate colour poster; April Torkopoulos, second, Junior essay;  Shelby Hester, first, Intermediate essay; and Logan Pearson, second, Junior poem. Congratulations!
