Churchill Public School second in all of Canada for CIBC Run for the Cure

Churchill Public School has done it again! The school has placed second in all of Canada for funds raised for the CIBC Run for the Cure.
“Wow! Second place for top fundraising schools in Canada two years in a row,” said Principal David Farrow. “That is such an amazing achievement and our Churchill Chargers are very proud. We are proving, once again, that we are a small school with a huge heart.”
With 432 students and 40 staff, Churchill raised $31,267 for the CIBC Run for the Cure this year.  This amount made the school the top fundraising team in the Sudbury Run and the number one fundraising school in Ontario.
“On behalf of the staff and students, I would like to thank the Churchill community, our friends, families and neighbours for supporting our fundraising efforts,” said Principal Farrow. “We are most grateful for the many contributions that we have received for breast cancer research.”
Support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure helps fund research, education and advocacy initiatives across Canada.
