Colours of the Rainbow – Cyril Varney students paint with Paddy O’Sullivan

   

Artist Paddy O’Sullivan demonstrated painting techniques at Cyril Varney Public School on Wednesday, May 4th.

Young artists included Grade 5 student Jena Ethier who proudly shares her work.

Grade 5 students Aden Souleiman Djama, left, and Gavain Loyer had an opportunity to try their hand at abstract art.

"It was an honour to have an artist of Paddy O’Sullivan’s renown share his love of art and his knowledge of technique with our students," says Ron Hodkinson, Principal of Cyril Varney Public School.

On Thursday, May 5th from 9 am to 11 am, the work students created with Paddy O’Sullivan will be on display in the gym as part of a school-wide Art Show open to parents and the community.
