Are you a current or former student of Confederation Secondary School? Mark your calendar. Confederation Secondary School will celebrate its 50th anniversary from Friday, June 23 to Sunday, June 25, 2017.

Alumni are invited to relive years gone by and register to reconnect with former friends and teachers.

“Students and staff, past and present, can all be very proud for having been part of Confederation Secondary School’s diverse and dynamic history,” says Principal Pablo Gil-Alfau. “The organizing committee invites everyone to join us as we mark this milestone.”

Since opening in 1967, the thousands of students who have walked the halls of Confederation Secondary School have gone on to fulfill their aspirations in business, education, health care, sports, the arts, the trades, the home, the community, and beyond.

“Building on its rich history, Confederation continues to evolve, ensuring that students are successful in learning and life,” says Principal Gil-Alfau. “Our reunion will provide the perfect opportunity to reminisce about the past, reflect on the present, and rejoice in the promise of a bright future.”

The reunion will include a wine and cheese reception with former staff, decade rooms, memorabilia displays, a golf tournament, an escape room, performances by the Evolutionary Band, a talent show, sports competitions, children’s activities and nightly entertainment.

Former staff and students wishing to be part of this milestone celebration are encouraged to purchase tickets. Entrance to some events is limited.
