Copper Cliff Public School raises funds for Terry Fox Run


Copper Cliff Public School Principal Chris Bourré was still giving thumbs up after receiving a pie in the face by Grade 7 student Riley Buchowski. Riley collected the most funds for the Terry Fox Run at his school.  Together, the students raised $2657.25 which is more than triple from last year.


After raising the most funds for the Terry Fox Run at his school, Riley Buchowski, a  Grade 7 student at Copper Cliff Public School, won the privilege of delivering a cream pie in the face of Principal Chris Bourré.  This year, Copper Cliff Public School raised $2657.25 for the Terry Fox Run, which is more than triple from last year.


Ean Moxam, a teacher at Copper Cliff Public School, agreed to allow the student who raised the second most funds for the Terry Fox Run to shave his head. Grade 6 student Declan Eldridge earned the honour.  This year, Copper Cliff Public School raised $2657.25 for the Terry Fox Run, which is more than triple from last year.
