Cyril Varney hosts Children’s Spring Clothing and Book Exchange on April 2

Cyril Varney Public School will host a Children’s Spring Clothing and Book Exchange on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 9 am to 11:30 am in the school gymnasium.

All families are welcome to donate clean, gently used children’s spring and summer clothing, rain boots, running shoes and books.

All families and community members are welcome to attend the Clothing and Book Exchange to select a few “new to you” items at no cost.

“Clothing children is costly and the items are rarely worn out before they are outgrown,” says Ron Hodkinson, Principal of Cyril Varney Public School.

He adds: “The Spring Clothing and Book Exchange is another way in which we are promoting sustainability. We encourage everyone to Go Green and Reuse with Varney.”

Cyril Varney Public School is located at 1545 Gary Street in New Sudbury.
