December 4: Lasalle Secondary School hosts Open House

Lasalle Secondary School will host an Open House for students and parents/guardians on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

An information session for Grade 6 students will take place at 6:30 pm, while those in Grade 8 are welcome to join at 7 pm.

All students in the Lasalle Secondary School catchment area are invited regardless of which elementary school they currently attend.

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to enter a draw for one of two Chromebooks or some Lasalle spirit wear.

Lasalle Secondary School offers English and French Immersion to students from Grades 7 to 12. “Our school is a wonderful place for students to learn and grow,” says Principal Kristina Rivard Gobbo. “We invite students and their families to join us and explore the various programming options that will open doors for their future.”

Lasalle Secondary School has dynamic opportunities available to students – from a diverse Arts program which includes Animation and Film Studies, to Business, Technology, Advanced Placement (AP) and the Sports Health Academics and Leadership Program (SHAL).

Specialist High Skills Majors are available to students in five sectors: Construction – Modern Residential Construction and Woodworking Concepts; Energy – Renewable Energy; Mining – Millwright; Non-Profit – Community Engagement; and Sports – Sports Industry.

Students can also enrol in Co-operative Education, the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) and Dual Credits through Cambrian College.

“We look forward to welcoming students and their families at our Open House,” says Principal Rivard Gobbo. “Everyone is invited to join us on December 4th.”
