Elementary Junior Coed Soccer Tournament Champions

A total of 18 teams from Sudbury, Espanola, Manitoulin Island and Webbwood participated in Rainbow District School Board’s Elementary Junior Coed Soccer Tournament on Wednesday, October 8, and Friday, October 10, 2014.
The MacLeod Mustangs captured Gold against the Lively Hawks, with a 2-1 victory. The R.L. Beattie Barons took home Bronze against the Algonquin Tigers, with a 1-0 victory.
Three teams, Webbwood Wildcats, Pinecrest Panthers and MacLeod Mustangs, earned a Spirit Award for demonstrating exemplary school spirit and sportsmanship. Each team received a team pizza banquet generously donated by Topper’s Pizza.
