Espanola High School Hosts Spring Concert on June 10th

Espanola High School Band Members, from left, Willow Hobbs, Lilly Tilston, Nathaniel Kelly and Rayne Gatchell have been rehearsing for the school’s Spring Concert on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025 at 6:30 pm.

The sound of music will come alive on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 when Espanola High School hosts its Spring Concert at 6:30 pm.

The Junior and Senior Bands will play selections from the Northern Ontario Music Festival as well as band favourites. The bands are directed by music teacher Tracy Mark.

The Jazz Sudbury Youth Band, directed by Peter Scherzinger, Mitch McIntyre and Brittany Goldsborough, will join the celebration.

The Youth Band features musicians from schools across the Rainbow District School Board, including four students from Espanola High School.

“Our students have been busy rehearsing and look forward to performing for the community,” said Espanola High School Principal Andrea Therrien.

She added: “We also welcome the opportunity to host the Jazz Sudbury Youth Band in Espanola. We invite everyone to join us on June 10th for a wonderful showcase of talent.”

Admission is by donation to the Espanola High School music program.

There will also be a bake sale at the concert.
