February 27: Lasalle Secondary School presents An Evening of Festival Music

The Lasalle Secondary School Music Department will host “An Evening of Festival Music” on Monday, February 27, 2012 in the school gymnasium. The event will take place from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.

The Concert will showcase Lasalle Secondary School’s six performing music groups – the Junior Jazz Ensemble, the Senior Jazz Ensemble, the Intermediate Concert Band, the Vocal Ensemble, the Senior Concert Band and the Guitar Ensemble.

The artistic range of each ensemble will be displayed through the performance of various styles of music. 

“Lasalle Secondary School’s band and vocal directors, Marc Savard, Peter Scherzinger and Camille Dupuis, are excited about the concert and look forward to sharing their students’ talents with the school and community,” said Principal Jeff McKibbon. “Everyone is welcome to join us.”

A matinée for feeder schools will take place from 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm on the same day.

The price of admission for the evening concert will be a donation.

Refreshments and baked goods will be on sale during intermission.
